November News and Updates from CERSC
Welcome to November! We’re thrilled to share the first snow of the season with you as we step into a time of gratitude, warmth, and community spirit. With the season of giving upon us, I’m excited to share the latest edition of the Senior Edition newsletter, packed with updates and announcements for the Chugiak-Eagle River Senior Center.
Halloween Bazaar Success – Thank You!
First, a massive thank you to everyone who made our Halloween Bazaar a fantastic success! Your donations, time, and support helped create a festive atmosphere that brought smiles, laughter, and a lot of spooky fun to our senior community. The event would not have been possible without the support and generosity of our community, and we are truly grateful for your involvement. From everyone here at CERSC, thank you for making the Halloween Bazaar a standout event!
Annual Membership Meeting, Board Election Dinner & Dessert Auction
The Annual Membership Meeting, Board Election Dinner, and Dessert Auction is just around the corner! It’s a unique opportunity to participate in shaping the future of our Senior Center, enjoy a delicious turkey dinner, and engage in a dessert auction that brings joy and support to our seniors. All funds raised from the dessert auction will go toward the Meals on Wheels Christmas Present Program, making a tangible difference in the lives of our community members this holiday season.

Support Needed for the Meals on Wheels Christmas Present Program
As the holiday season approaches, our Meals on Wheels Christmas Present Program is in full swing, but we need your support to make it truly special. This initiative ensures that every senior receiving Meals on Wheels feels the joy of the season with a personalized gift. Your donations and sponsorships are essential in making this program a success, as every contribution helps bring a little holiday magic to seniors in need. Whether it’s a one-time gift or a larger donation, every bit counts, and we are so thankful for any support you can offer.
Together, We Make a Difference
As we share the November Senior Edition, we want to thank you for all you do to support our Senior Center and the many programs that serve our community. From the Halloween Bazaar to our upcoming events and initiatives, your involvement is a cornerstone of what we do.
With each event and each gesture, we are building a legacy of care, support, and community for the seniors we cherish. Enjoy the newsletter, and stay tuned for more opportunities to get involved and make a difference this holiday season!
