Chugiak-Eagle River Senior Center, overseen by Chugiak Senior Citizens, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 1975, caters to the needs of seniors aged 55 and above, as well as disabled adults residing in the broader Chugiak, Eagle River, and Eklutna regions.


Our goal is to empower individuals to maintain their independence and continue enjoying the comforts of their community. Imagine a place where you can select from 42 independent living apartments, 20 affordable senior housing units, and 20 well-equipped assisted living accommodations.


Delight in our wholesome meal program, open not just to residents but to all, ensuring no one misses out on good nutrition. Participate in our Meals-On-Wheels Program, Need a lift? Our transportation department is at your service, connecting you to the heart of Chugiak, Eagle River, Anchorage, and the Mat-Su Valley. Elevate your well-being with our wellness and exercise program, curated to invigorate both body and mind. Welcome to November at Chugiak Senior Citizens Center! As we step into November, the season of gratitude and celebration is in full swing. This month brings wonderful opportunities for our members and friends to come together, share in the spirit of community, and enjoy all that this special time of year has to offer. Holiday Bazaar Get into the holiday spirit at our annual Holiday Bazaar on November 8th! Browse a variety of handmade crafts, festive décor, and unique gifts created by talented local vendors and community members. It’s the perfect way to start your holiday shopping and support those who make our community so special. Veterans Day On November 11, we proudly recognize and honor the veterans among us and throughout our nation. We are deeply grateful for their courage, sacrifice, and service. Please join us in extending our heartfelt appreciation to those who have served. Thanksgiving As Thanksgiving approaches, we are reminded of the many reasons to be thankful — our health, friendships, and the sense of belonging that makes Chugiak Senior Citizens Center such a warm and welcoming place. We wish everyone a safe, joyful, and heartwarming holiday filled with good company and good cheer. Welcome to June at the Chugiak-Eagle River Senior Center! July is here, and with it comes a powerful reminder of the freedom we cherish and the independence that shapes our nation. As we celebrate Independence Day and the values it represents, it’s also a time to reflect on the freedoms we’ve earned and the paths we’ve traveled. For many of us, freedom means more than fireworks and flags—it’s about the ability to live with dignity, to make our own choices, and to share our stories with the next generation. You are part of that living history, and your experiences continue to inspire and strengthen our community here at CERSC.
